How to check connected Bluetooth device battery life on Windows 11

Peripheral devices using Bluetooth connection such as mouse, keyboard, speaker, or headset… Most are equipped with removable batteries or rechargeable batteries. Therefore, paying attention to the battery life of these devices is also essential to ensure uninterrupted usage.

In Windows 11, you can easily quickly check the battery life of your connected Bluetooth devices with just a few simple taps. However, it should be noted that not every peripheral allows users to check the battery on Windows 11, but this is quite rare. Proceed as follows:

1. Open the Windows Settings application by pressing the Windows + i key combination. Or you can also right-click the Start button on the taskbar and select “Settings” from the pop-up menu.

2. In the open Settings interface, click on the Bluetooth & Devices item in the list on the left.

On the Bluetooth & Devices settings screen, look directly below the header and you'll see one or more items of information listed, representing the currently connected Bluetooth devices on the system. If your device supports displaying battery life in your settings, you'll see it listed directly under the device name.

For example, you can see that the percentage of remaining battery life of the connected Bluetooth mouse in the illustration below is “59%”, accompanied by a corresponding more than half battery icon.

As mentioned, if you don't see your device's battery life listed here, your device may not be supporting this feature. In that case, refer back to the manufacturer's manual on how to view remaining battery life. In addition, some Bluetooth utilities also require the installation of special drivers. Good luck!
