A Javascript Error Occurred in the Main Process Windows 10 - Discord Error

1. Press Windows Key + R at the same time to open the Run box, type services.msc and then click OK..

2. Find Quality Windows Audio Video Experience in Services window, right click on it to select Properties.

3. If the Quality Windows Audio Video Experience service is started, click Stop in the Service Status section, then click Start to run it again.

4. Click Sign In and then click Browse….

5. Enter your account name under Enter the object name to select, then click Check Name to wait for the name to be available.

6. Click OK to save the changes. If you've already set a password, you'll need to enter it in the Password box on the Log On tab.

After you complete these instructions, you can click Start without error.

You can then restart your computer to check if the A JavaScript error occurring in the main process error persists.

Method 3: Run Discord without administrator privileges

1. Find the Discord executable and right click on it to select Properties.

2. Click on Compatibility and then uncheck Run this program as an administrator in the Settings section. Click OK to save the changes.
